Not alot going on here

Well we are hangin in there, though its only been 2 and half days...Skyler is doing great. Eating drinking and peeing like a champ :) You NEEDED to know that I know. One of our day nurses came in when rounds were going on (rounds are when the drs of your child's team come in and talk to you each morning) and she asked the dr about releasing us, she couldn't understand why Skyler was here still when he's meet all their requirements for discharged...They quickly filled her in on our expected extended stay. So we are now labled the "in/out patient, patient" nice I guess, free roam, and no every 4 hour vitals...just trapped :P

Skyler had a good night. After being mad at me last night because I wanted to watch Ratatoullie on the Childrens TV and he didn't he began to cry " I want to go home" for an hour. And I think there really was tears, and real sadness...until about half way into it he just was being obnoxious. Then he fell asleep. *Sigh* If he only knew I really didn't want to be here either. His new thing, well it isn't new but more and more noticalbe...teeth grinding!! I really can't imagine it being a good thing for this procedure, he's not allowed to CHEW food, I asked the dr today is it ok to CHEW our teeth? She asked his surgeon and they said they would watch it, not a whole lot they could do. Well shooot, what if this is what has been messing us up the whole time!!?

Before I go, I forgot to tell you some awesome news....So Friday on my way down to Children's I was driving up the hill of 45th, and the radio station I listen to announced they were giving away 25 dollars in Taco Bell and some sort of smoothy from Tasty Freeze and to call then to win. I am thinking, hey why not...It rings and rings and rings...and they answer...and I win!! HAHA I am lame I know, but now I can eat down here :P

Anyways, Mike and Seth came and visited both yesterday and today. It was nice to hang out, the boys were acting like brothers today. Hitting and punching each other in the wagon on the way to the play room. Good Grief!! LOL
