So when Skyler started belting out this little "ditty" from, of course BOLT, I thought of one person and one person only....Katrina!! Sorry girl looks like you have some competition....(BAHAHAHA!!)
So looks like we will finally be set free today! Over all not been to bad of a stay. This morning I was woken up at 7am from a lab tech wanting to steal some blood from Skyler. He was asleep of course and why did you need blood I asked. Something about a 2 day blah blah blah...didn't make sence to me since we were leaving today, and NO you may not poke him right now... So she left, understanding why I didn't want her to wake him up and start the day off like that. Turns out the dr yesterday ordered blood work because of their suspision of an infection. The dr came in today and said No need for blood if he hadn't done it yet, Skyler's red puffy swelling was way down this am so mostly likely wasn't infection. (PHEW)
Turning his pin went with out issue and we are getting ready to clean up a bit and should be starting our last dose of med through his IV and by 12 should be on the road.
Well before we head home Skyler and I are taking a field trip to the Washington State Talking book and braille library downtown Seattle...exciting!!
I have met a few people down here, guess we always kinda do, but its been nice swapping stories and "battles" makes you really think about how FAR things really have come, yet I also notice how FAR we really have to go. :D
Talk to you all soon. Can't wait to get home and sit out on the back patio in this awesome weather, looks amazing from this window!!
All our love
Casie and Skyler
